Inside the New UFC Event Model for Commercial Establishments

Over the last six months, the commercial landscape surrounding UFC content has evolved. As we outlined in our recent blog, What Bar and Restaurant Owners Should Put On Their Radar in 2026, UFC signed a seven-year deal with the streaming service Paramount+ for exclusive residential distribution. That shift to a subscription service at home has led some operators to assume Pay-Per-View has also disappeared from the commercial space. . That is simply not the case; the commercial product has evolved accordingly.

UFC Pay-Per-Views, now referred to as Numbered Events, remain a core part of the commercial viewing experience.

What has changed is how this content is made available to bars and restaurants.

For years, establishments purchased UFC Pay-Per-Views on an a la carte basis, calling us each month to lock in the next event. That option still exists. However, the new UFC and Paramount+ partnership opened the door for us to offer our customers a broader, more sustainable model, one designed to support those once-a-month Numbered Events with consistent, high-impact programming throughout the month.

BREAKING DOWN THE UFC BUNDLE

The new UFC Bundle shifts the model from single-event transactions to an expanded content strategy built around consistent live programming.

With the UFC bundle, operators unlock access to the complete UFC live content portfolio without needing to purchase events one by one. This means your establishment gets 10 times more content, including:

  • UFC Numbered Events
  • Fight Nights
  • Prelims and Early Prelims
  • UFC BJJ
  • Zuffa Boxing
  • Power Slap

Beyond live programming, subscribers also receive marketing support, including digital assets for social promotion and official event posters for Numbered Events. This makes it easier to drive awareness and attendance.

By including prelims, this model adds four additional hours of content per Numbered Event, totaling 48 extra hours annually. But the value of the UFC Bundle goes well beyond marquee fight nights. Take February as an example. Even without a Numbered Event on the calendar, the UFC bundle still delivers five live events, with at least one event every weekend of the month, totaling 26 hours of programming. While some of this content existed previously across different platforms or services, it was not available together under a unified UFC commercial model like this. You can find those events on the upcoming events page on our website.

For establishments that prefer to buy select events a la carte, Numbered Events are still available. This option includes the main card only, along with digital assets.

The bottom line is simple. The bundle is not just about access. It is about momentum. More content creates more touchpoints, which builds loyal regulars and drives incremental food and beverage sales. The UFC Bundle is designed to deliver exactly that.

Combating Residential Concerns

As a company that has spent over 50 years in the out-of-home entertainment space, we know one thing to be true: people prefer to watch sports together. Not only does our experience prove that, so does the data.

According to our recent Technomic study, 73% of people are likely to watch PPV events away from home in groups of one to five people.

The appeal is not just the fight. It is the atmosphere. The energy of a crowd. The shared reactions. The social experience that cannot be replicated at home.

That behavior extends beyond major fight nights. When establishments consistently show UFC content, they become part of fans’ regular routines, not just a destination for marquee events. UFC research shows that 88 percent of fans return to establishments showing UFC events on non-fight nights.

So while UFC content may be available residentially through a Paramount+ subscription, fans will continue to choose bars and restaurants for the communal experience. Out-of-home viewing is not a replacement for at-home viewing. It is a different experience altogether.

IS THE UFC BUNDLE RIGHT FOR YOUR ESTABLISHMENT

If your establishment has historically shown UFC Pay-Per-View events, the UFC Bundle is a natural evolution. It builds on what already worked while adding more consistency, flexibility, and value throughout the month.

If you showed UFC events occasionally or were unsure if it was the right fit, the bundle still offers a low-risk opportunity to test and learn. With more than 20 hours of supporting content each month, access to Numbered Events, and the ability to unsubscribe whenever, operators can evaluate performance without a long-term commitment.

This new UFC model is not just about changing how content is sold. It is about helping commercial establishments create consistency, build community, and turn live combat sports into a reliable driver of repeat business.
